Well it's Thursday and the Millennium System is still down. What does this mean? It means that The Green Free Library cannot update any computer records of books that are checked in, checked out, or placed on hold. Any fines on your account cannot be taken off either, so if you have paid and the fines still show up when you access MY MILLENNIUM from home, it is not our fault! Please be patient with library staff while they wait for this technical problem to be resolved. We are still open and writing down things by hand, but it will be several days (after the system is restored) before the mess is resolved.
One fairly good thing, the WebPAC has finally been restored meaning both patrons and staff can look up books (of course the status of whether the book is available or not will not always be accurate for awhile). Anyway, the library remains open for business, and staff will try to accommodate your needs as best they can. Thank you for your patience.
