THANK YOU HITACHI!

The Green Free Library would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the Community Action
Committee of the Hitachi Metals Automotive Components and the Hitachi Foundation. We have received a generous grant from the above named benefactors, and the funds are being used to expand our DVD collection. Part of the money will be used to purchase a custom built (by Stan Flint) shelving unit to help house our growing collection. Another percentage has been used to replace titles of popular DVDs that have been stolen in the past 2 years. (Go figure? You can borrow for free!). We are also filling out popular series like Die Hard, Harry Potter, and the Lord of the Rings, so that we have all the movies in the series. The remaining funds will be used to purchase new DVDs throughout the year. This is truly a bounty to the library and its patrons, especially since the rotating collection from James V. Brown has been discontinued due to lack of funds.
