The Green Free Library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors please note that all parking is "on the street", except for one handicapped access parking spot behind the library that is shared with the Gmeiner. You must have the appropriate permits displayed to park in this spot.

Each ornament has a suggested title of a book or DVD that the library would love to own. Just purchase the item, or give the library the amount listed and the item will be added to the circulating collection with a special label stating who it is for!
This is a great gift for kids, grandkids, and adults. If you designate it, they will also get to check it out first.

DELAYED OPENING
The Green Free Library will attempt to open at 11:00 AM today, Dec 17, 2013 in accordance with the snow policy-at this time WASD is operating on a 2 hour delay. If there is a later school closing, this time may change. Please check back, or call 570-724-4876 before coming out if weather is bad, or listen to the local radio stations for further information.

WATCH THE WEATHER
There is the possibility of bad weather in the forecast for Monday, December 09, 2013. Please check the local radio stations, the library site, or call 570-724-4876 for weather related closings or delayed openings. If the Wellsboro Area schools operate on a 2-hr delay, the library would normally open at 12:00 PM. For Dec 9th only, if the library opens at it's normal time of 10:00 AM it will close from 11:15 AM-2:00 PM for a staff function. If school is delayed Dec 9th, the library will not open until 2:00 PM.

The library is now accepting donations of gently used hardcover and paperback books. Please no textbooks, encyclopedias or magazines! We would also appreciate it if books are placed in sturdy boxes or at least doubled plastic grocery bags as they have to be carried downstairs to be sorted and packed for sales. There is a large bin on the side porch where donations can be placed at any time.

Used hardcovers and paperbacks will be available along with a large assortment of books on cassette and movies on VHS. There will also be a table of "Giftworthy items". All money is used to support The Green Free Library and its patrons.
The Friends will be hosting an open house in the Pennsylvania Room from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
