The Green Free Library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM-8:00 PM, and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Free wireless internet access (ask for the keycode at the desk)is available, along with public access computers.

BON VOYAGE!To all kids, parents, presenters and staff who took part in the Summer Reading Program-Before you head off for your summer adventures, head to the library for the end of the program picnic. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather.

12PM-12:45 PM Puppet Show with Bruce Weaver! He always plans something special to accompany the theme.

Adult Knitting will be held in the Main Room at 3:30 PM until?

First Thursday Writers Group will meet upstairs in the library from 6:30 PM-7:30 PM. Come early if you need copies (provided free of charge by The Friends).

Things have been slowing down at The Green Free Library, but there is still plenty to do and of READ!!


WEDNESDAY
Just 2 more sessions to go of the Summer Reading Program! Both events begin at 10:15 Am. Please come early to sign-in and drop off reading logs for prizes.



Sailing! Seafaring stories about tugboats, sailboats and more for PreK-with Karen Meyer in the main room of the library.




Grades K-6 will be Trekking Through China with Jessica Spencer-hear about the Cities, culture and even the Great Wall of China! (at the Gmeiner)

ADULT KNITTING will be held in the main room of the library at 3:30 PM until ? (usually 4:30 ish). All levels are welcome!

BOOK CLUB TONIGHT WITH SPECIAL SNACKS



The book club will meet at The Green Free Library tonight at 6:30 PM to discuss My Life in France by Julia Child and Alex Prud'homme.

We will be sampling some special morsels from France, Germany, and Italy. This event is open to everyone, not just members of the book club! Bon Apetit!

THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY

TUESDAY
The Green Free Library is open 10:00 AM-8:00 PM

WEDNESDAY


The Summer Reading Program continues with Game Day! Pre-K and K-6 will journey to the library for travel games, games from around the world, and story time with library staff and special guests from Benedict's Bus Service!


Adult Knitting will be held in the main room of the library, beginning at 3:30 PM. All Levels are welcome.


THURSDAY

The 1st Thursday Writing Group meets upstairs in the library at 6:30 PM. Please bring a sample of up to 3 pages to share. Copies for each member may be made before the meeting and are paid for by The Friends of The Green Free Library. All genres are welcome. Participants must be at least 17 years of age to attend due to potential subject matter.

CLOSED FOR THE FOURTH


The Green Free Library is closed Sat July 2 thru Monday July 4th. It will reopen at 10:00 AM on Tuesday for normal operating hours. If you need to renew books, dial 570-724-4876 and leave a message on the machine. The computer program is set so no overdue fines are charged for days the library is closed.
