Tuesday, January 12, 2010 the Book Club will be meeting in the main room of The Green Free Library (magazine area). They will be discussing "The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield. If you've read the book and would like to talk about it, please stop in from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.
Brr! Why not take the chill away by joining Knitting Club and knitting a warm, comfy scarf? Actually, you can knit whatever you want (a scarf is all I can manage!) Knitting for adults meets upstairs on Wednesday's from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., and kids ages 10 to 16 years meet upstairs on Thursdays from 3:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. (knitting needles provided).
Wednesday morning Story Hour will be held, weather permitting, at 10:15 A.M. and last about 45 minutes. Please listen to the radio, or call 570-724-4876 for updates if the weather is bad.
The Author Talk has been rescheduled to this Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the main room of the library. Zeke and Florence Wilson will be here to talk about their individual works, books are available for purchase and signing.
