THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY

The Green Free Library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors please note that all parking is "on the street", except for one handicapped access parking spot behind the library that is shared with the Gmeiner. You must have the appropriate permits displayed to park in this spot.

MONDAY

There are no special events scheduled for today. There are still books available from the booksale last week, as well as the Green Free Library book bags for sale at the circulation desk.

TUESDAY

The BOOK STORE will be open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Prices are amazing and there are many titles to choose from. Books will be re-stocked at the end of every session, so make it a habit to stop in regularly.

The theme for this month is " Just Gotta Go, June". Please support the library by helping us get rid of the excess donations left when the Friends discontinued hosting the annual book sale.

The E-reader book club will meet on June 19th at 6:30 PM to discuss Song of the Lark by Willa Cather. Snacks are always welcome!

WEDNESDAY

The BOOK STORE will be open from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

This year’s pre-kindergarten to sixth grade summer reading program begins today, June 20, at 10:15 A.M. at the library and will continue on Wednesdays through Aug. 8 with the exception of The Fourth of July when the library will be closed.
The program called Dream Big—READ!, is on Wednesdays at 10:15 AM. Preschoolers (PreK) meet in the main room of the library. Children in grades K-6 meet at the Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center.



This week PreK will listen to Tales about Tooth Fairies, and kids in K-6 will learn about Dreamcatchers and make one to take home!



In addition to weekly programs, kids of all ages can register and read for prizes. Teens and Adults may keep a paper log, or register in line at www.greenfreelibrary.org (click teen and adult programs).
You can read whatever you like for the summer program reading log, but themed book discussions will be held the fourth Thursday of the month at the library (& on the Teen Book Club Facebook group page https://www.facebook.com/groups/404844872892059/).

Adult knitting will meet in the Gmeiner at 3:00 PM. Feel free to drop by and get some instructions, or just knit with some good company. Knitters of ll levels are welcome

THURSDAY

The BOOK STORE will be open from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This will coincide with the "Wellsboro Grower's Market", next door. One stop shopping, feed the stomach and the mind!

FRIDAY

Please remember the library closes promptly at 5:00 PM on Friday & Saturday. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.

SATURDAY

The library will be open from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors are welcome, and Wireless is available, along with Guest Passes for public Internet access with a valid photo ID. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.
