The Green Free Library will be hosting a sale all this week (M-F) during normal business hours. Fiction and non-fiction hardcovers and paperbacks are available for purchase, along with an assortment of VHS tapes, DVDs, books on CD and cassette, a few music CDs and several records. All proceeds come directly to the library.
The library is open Monday -Thursday, 10:00 AM-8:00 PM, and on Friday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Though normally open on Saturday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM, the library will be closed June 16, 2012 due to The Laurel Festival.
The library accepts donations of gently used books, movies and audio items all through the year, and donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE if you ask for a receipt. The library is no longer accepting magazines or LP records, nor does take encyclopedia sets, Readers digest condensed books, or textbooks. Please recycle these items instead of trying to donate them as the library does not have sufficient staff to deal with copious amounts of un-useable items.
