THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY

The Green Free Library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors please note that all parking is "on the street", except for one handicapped access parking spot behind the library that is shared with the Gmeiner. You must have the appropriate permits displayed to park in this spot.

MONDAY

Today is Monday, June 04, 2012. There are no special events scheduled for today.

TUESDAY

The BOOK STORE will be open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Prices are amazing and there are many titles to choose from. Books will be re-stocked at the end of every session, so make it a habit to stop in regularly.

The theme for this month is " Just Gotta Go, June". Please support the library by helping us get rid of the excess donations left when the Friends discontinued hosting the annual book sale.

WEDNESDAY

The BOOK STORE will be open from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

There will be no regular Story Time again until September. Check back for more information on special story times for families and The Summer Reading Program for children pre-K thru 6th grade.

Adult knitting will meet in the Gmeiner at 3:00 PM. Feel free to drop by and get some instructions, or just knit with some good company. Knitters of ll levels are welcome

THURSDAY

The BOOK STORE will be open from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This will coincide with the "Wellsboro Grower's Market", next door. One stop shopping, feed the stomach and the mind!

The First Thursday Writers Group will meet upstairs in the library from 6:30 PM until 7:30 PM. Writers of any genres, and any skill level are invited to attend as long as they are at least 17 years of age. Please bring up to 3 pages of your work to share and discuss with the group in a round-table format. Copies may be made before the meeting (come early) and are compliments of The Friends of the Green Free Library.

FRIDAY

The BOOKSALE starts today, during library hours. Several tables will be available in addition to the regular bookstore shelves.
The sale will continue on Saturday, and run through next week. (The library will be closed on Saturday, June 16, 2012 because of the Laurel Festival).

Please remember the library closes promptly at 5:00 PM on Friday & Saturday. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.

The library will be closed on Saturday, May 26, 2012.
