The Green Free Library is proud to announce the arrival of the newest American Girl-REBECCA!
Six new American Girl books have been added that feature Rebecca Rubin, a lively young Jewish lady growing up in New York City in 1914. The books are written by Jacqueline Dembar Greene, and illustrated by Robert Hunt. It looks like the publishers are trying something a little different this time. The titles are:
1) Meet Rebecca
2) Rebecca and Ana
3) Candlelight for Rebecca
4) Rebecca and the Movies
5) Rebecca to the Rescue
6) Changes for Rebecca
The library also has the complete series of American Girl fiction books featuring Kaya (1764), Felicity (1774), Josefina (1824), Kirsten (1854), Addy (1864), Samantha (1904), Kit (1934), Molly (1944), and Julie (1974). Also in the collection are several of the American Girl mysteries, a couple of the non-fiction titles, and the magazine entitled, American Girl.
