THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY 10/03/11-10/10/08/11

No special events are scheduled for Monday or Tuesday of this week. The library will be open Monday-Thursday 10:00 AM-8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. There are public access computers available to library cardholders and a limited number of guest passes. There is also free wireless, though the library does not offer printing services for those that bring their own laptops and devices. Oh, and here's a thought-we have BOOKS, books to read & books to listen too on 4 formats!!Once you have a lbrary card you may even download audiobooks at home. There are also newspapers,music CDs, DVD and VHS tapes.

Whooo wants to know when Story Time is at The Green Free Library? It's Wednesday morning at 10:15 AM. This week's theme is...you guessed it-OWLS! All children from birth to age 5 years are invited to fly on down with a parant or caregiver and roost in the childrens room for stories, songs and crafts.



Adult knitters will meet in the main room of the library at 3:30 PM. All levels are welcome!

THURSDAY



Kids knitting begins this week! Join us after school at 3:30 PM, upstairs in the library. Don't know how to knit? No problem! Instructions and supplies will be provided by some very talented individuals. Plan to stay about an hour and have alot of fun.




The First Thursday Writing Group will meet upstairs in the library at 6:30 PM. Writers of all genres are welcome. Please bring up to 3 pages to share. Copies may be made before the meeting, and are paid for by The Friends of The Green Free Library.
