GREEN FREE LIBRARY E-READER CLASS SET FOR MAY

The Green Free Library will hold a class on e-readers on Wednesday, May 4, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the library's main room.

Library Director Leslie Wishard and members of her staff will give an overview of e-readers, or portable electronic devices, such as the Amazon Kindle or the Barnes and Noble Nook, that are designed primarily for the purpose of reading digital books and periodicals. They also will share how patrons can use the North Central Library District's website, www.listentobooks.org, to checkout and install e-books and audiobooks through two programs: Adobe Digital Editions and OverDrive.

If interested, bring your own e-reader or the library will have sample e-readers. A question-and-answer session will follow.

The library is located at 134 Main St. in Wellsboro.
