YUMMY! Entrants in the 1st Green Free Library Read, Bake, Eat Contest

The 1st Annual Read, Bake, Eat contest was held at The Green Free Library on Saturday April 2, 2011. Though the number of entries were small, the degree of taste was big!
Participants were invited to try a recipe from their favorite book, be it a culinary mystery, beloved children's favorite, or other work of fiction.
The winning entry was My Grandma's Thunder Cake, and was baked by Sandy Foor. The recipe comes from the children's book entitled Thunder Cake by Betty Polaco.
