The totals for The Friends of the Green Free Library 2009 Booksale are in! Though not quite as profitable as last year's sale, this year was not too shabby considering the frequent showers and generally damp conditions.
Totals are:
Membership fees: $525
Silent Auction: $610
Booksale: $6975
Grand Total: $8110 (less expenses for advertising and additional purchase of tables)
Hopefully with this windfall The Friends will be especially generous when doling out funds to the library!
