The Green Free Library is open Monday-Thursday from
10:00 AM until
8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from
10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors please note that all parking is "on the street", except for one handicapped access parking spot behind the library that is shared with the Gmeiner. You must have the appropriate permits displayed to park in this spot.
Summer is here! The library has air conditioning and very cold water in the drinking fountain. Please remember that no other food or beverages are allowed in the library, especially near the computers. Also, please turn all cell phones off, or put on vibrate before entering the library and do not answer then inside the building.

MONDAY JUNE 24, 2013
There are no special events scheduled for today. The new book club selection is available for pick-up for book club members. The next title to be discussed is
In the Sanctuary of Outcasts by Neil White. The discussion will take place in the library on July 16, 2013 at 6:30 PM. New members are welcome. Just stop by and sign for a copy of the current title, or read your own and come to the meeting! It is recommended that participants be 17 or over however, due to subject matter and open discussion.

BOOK STORE will be open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
A program on Marcellus Shale will be held at the library at 6:00 PM. If a large crowd attends, the program may be moved to the Gmeiner.
The SRP continues! Lot's of kids are really diggin' it! All events begin at 10:15 AM. Preschoolers )PreK) meet in the main room of the library. Kids in K-6 meet at the Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center. Please come early enough to sign-in and get situated so as not to disrupt the presenters, or other participants!
. They will also make a fossil to take home.
