THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY

Ads showing support for any political party or religious group are not posted by myself or any member of the staff of the library, but are provided by Google.

Please be aware of possible bad weather that may hit the area this week. Fines will be waived only if the library is closed, but try to renew items before they are overdue since there has been amble warning of the impending storm. If the library closes, every effort will be made to announce said closing, but if the power is out that may be difficult.

The Green Free Library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors please note that all parking is "on the street", except for one handicapped access parking spot behind the library that is shared with the Gmeiner. You must have the appropriate permits displayed to park in this spot.

MONDAY OCTOBER 29, 2012

There are no special events scheduled for today. Look for your 2012-2013 appeal letter in the mail, or pick one up at the library. Remember-all donations are tax-deductible!! Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. The library also accepts donations of gently used books (hard cover and paperbacks), except for encyclopedias, Reader's Digest condensed and pitdated textbooks. Please no magazines or records either.

TUESDAY OCTOBER 30, 2012

The BOOK STORE will be open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Prices are amazing and there are many titles to choose from. Books will be re-stocked at the end of every session, so make it a habit to stop in regularly.

The theme for this month is "Spoooktacular Savings". All regularly priced items are BYGO Free!! Please support the library by helping us get rid of the excess donations left when the Friends discontinued hosting the annual book sale. Prices are so good, its scary.

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 31, 2012

Storytime starts today at 10:15 AM in the Childrens Room. The theme for this week is "HALLOWEEN". THURSDAY NOVEMBER 01,2012

The First Thursday Writers Group will meet at 6:30 PM upstairs in the library. Writers of all genres are welcome as long as they are at least 17 years old, due to possible adult content of work shared. Feel free to bring up to three pages of your work to share.
