THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY!

Only 2 days left to file your 2011 taxes!The Green Free Library still has many forms and instructions available, as well as access to others on the Internet, or a reproducible book.This includes forms to file for extensions. It's also not too early to start thinking about deductions for 2012. All money donated to the library is tax-deductible. Receipts will be provided, or use the image of your cancelled check made out to-The Green Free Library.

The Green Free Library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors please note that all parking is "on the street", except for one handicapped access parking spot behind the library that is shared with the Gmeiner. You must have the appropriate permits displayed to park in this spot.



MONDAY

Today is Monday, April 16, 2012. There are no special events scheduled for today.

TUESDAY

The BOOK STORE will be open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Prices are amazing and there are many titles to choose from. Books will be re-stocked at the end of every session, so make it a habit to stop in regularly.

Sale items for April include all audio & visual items. This means VHS tapes, DVDs, books on audio cassette and books on CD.

The E-reader book club will meet tonight in the main room of the library to discuss To Kill a Mockingbird a Pullitzer Prize winning novel published in 1960 by Harper Lee.

WEDNESDAY

Hop on down and jump into Story Time at the library. The program begins at 10:15 AM and lasts about 45 minutes. All children from birth thru 5 years and their caregivers are welcome to attend.The theme for the week is-FROGS!!



The BOOK STORE will be open from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.



Adult knitting will meet in the Gmeiner at 3:00 PM. Feel free to drop by and get some instructions, or just knit with some good company. Knitters of ll levels are welcome


THURSDAY

The BOOK STORE will be open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.



Kids knitting will be held upstairs in the library beginning at 3:30 PM.There are only 2 sessions left for the term. Adult supervision is provided at all times, and knitters of any level are welcome. If you don't have your own needles, Wanda Short (facilitator) will provide beginner needles and yarn if you want to take a stab at it. Donations of yarn and knitting needles of any size are always appreciated, and will be put to good use.


FRIDAY

There are no special events scheduled for today. Please remember the library closes promptly at 5:00 PM on Friday & Saturday. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.
