THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY

It is going to be a busy week at The Green Free Library! Please check the schedule, especially if the weather gets bad.


MONDAY


There will be an E-Reader workshop for thiose that already own a device in the main room of the library. The topics covered will include how to download books (audio & E-books from the Ebranch2go site connected to The Green Free Library. You must have a valid Green Free Library card at the time of the workshop (those with cards from other libraries may find the information useful, but will need to choose their library instead of The Green Free Wellsboro in the dropdown menu. Please bring your device and your laptop if you have one. Some laptops will be available for demonstration purposes. The workshop begins at 5:30 PM.

TUESDAY


The library will not open until 2:00 PM today. More staff training. Believe me, we don't like it any more than you do.

The Friends of The Green Free Library will be hosting a free program in the library on Tuesday, Jan 31, 2012, beginning at 7:00 PM. Kate Sholonski (Certified Life Coach) will talk about her new book Wide Awake: Three Minutes a Day to an Inspired Life. The book is co-authored by David Larson. Snowdate for this event will be Feb 1.

WEDNESDAY

Happy Groundhog Day!!(a little early) Crawl out of your warm bed and come to Story Time in the Children's Room of the library. The program begins at 10:15 AM so don't be late or there will be six more weeks of Winter and it will be all your fault.



Adult knitting will meet in the main room of the library at 3:00 PM. Come and learn a new craft, or practice an old one. Knitters of all levels are welcome. The group has also set up a display in the case that is located inside the main door of the library. You will really get wrapped up in the beutiful pieces on display.

THURSDAY


Kids knitting will meet upstairs in the library beginning at 3:30 PM. Knitters of any level are welcome, but must be at least school-age. Adults who can't make the Wednesday session are encouraged to drop by to give and receive help.
