Do you knit? If not, would you like to learn how?
Every Wednesday (weather permitting) between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM, The Purl Girls, a group open to teens and adults meets upstairs at The Green Free Library to work on various projects and get instruction and assistance from each other and from the group's founder;Wanda Short.
One special project that Wanda is encouraging new knitters to begin with is a small blanket for an ASPCA orphan to snuggle in. This project is nicknamed the Cozies for Critters Campaign. Blankets can be any color, and any type of yarn.
Any one can do this!(even me-if I can do it any one can)
If you are interested just stop by any Wednesday, no need to call or sign up. All you need is a set of knitting needles and some yarn. You do not need to know how to knit, but if you do come on up and help us newbies.
