THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY

The Green Free Library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors please note that all parking is "on the street", except for one handicapped access parking spot behind the library that is shared with the Gmeiner. You must have the appropriate permits displayed to park in this spot.

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 04, 2012

The BOOK STORE will be open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Prices are amazing and there are many titles to choose from. Books will be re-stocked at the end of every session, so make it a habit to stop in regularly.

The theme for this month is "Sports". All sports related books are BYGO Free!! Please support the library by helping us get rid of the excess donations left when the Friends discontinued hosting the annual book sale.

The Summer Reading Program for kids has concluded for this year. Check back for information on the fall session for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 06, 2012

The BOOK STORE will be open from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This will coincide with the "Wellsboro Grower's Market", next door. One stop shopping, feed the stomach and the mind!

The First Thursday's Writing Group will meet tonight, upstairs in the library. Any writers 17 years or older are welcome to attend (any genres). Please bring a sample of up to 3 pages if you would like to share. Copies may be made before the meeting, and are compliments of the Friends. tHE MEETING BEGINS AT 6:30 pm, AND ENDS ABOUT 7:45 PM.

Please remember the library closes promptly at 5:00 PM on Friday & Saturday. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 08, 2012

The library will be open from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors are welcome, and Wireless is available, along with Guest Passes for public Internet access with a valid photo ID. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.

The Book Store will be open from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
