THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY 12/16-12/21 2013

The Green Free Library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors please note that all parking is "on the street", except for one handicapped access parking spot behind the library that is shared with the Gmeiner. You must have the appropriate permits displayed to park in this spot.

There are no special events today. The annual appeal is winding down, but there is still time to donate and receive credit for your annual taxes. If you don't get an envelope in the mail, additional copies are available at the circulation counter. THANK YOU in advance to all who support the library. If your address has changed recently, please update it at the circulation desk.

The BOOK CLUB will be meeting tonight at 6:30PM for a Christmas get-together. Participants are invited to bring a holiday snack and or a holiday poem, song, story etc., to share with the group.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 18, 2013

There will be no Story Time until the new year.

The BOOK STORE will be open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.



The adult Knitting Group will meet at 3:00 PM in The Gmeiner (the art center behind the library). Knitters of any level are encouraged to attend. Help will be available for those new to the craft.

Please remember the library closes promptly at 5:00 PM on Friday & Saturday. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.
