The Green Free Library is open Monday-Thursday from
10:00 AM until
8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from
10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors please note that all parking is "on the street", except for one handicapped access parking spot behind the library that is shared with the Gmeiner. You must have the appropriate permits displayed to park in this spot.
It's raining cats and dogs in Wellsboro! The Green Free Library is open and almost dry. There is a leak upstairs, but patrons should be fine. Come on in and get out of the storm.

The SRP continues! Lot's of kids are really diggin' it! All events begin at 10:15 AM. Preschoolers )PreK) meet in the main room of the library. Kids in K-6 meet at the Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center. Please come early enough to sign-in and get situated so as not to disrupt the presenters, or other participants!
Today, PreK will dig into stories about dirt & rocks with
Getting Muddy!
K-6 kids will get the dirt on soil and it's importance in gardening with Erica Tomlinson from the Tioga County Conservation Districtin
Soil.
The adult Knitting Group will meet at
3:30 PM in The Gmeiner (the art center behind the library). Knitters of any level are encouraged to attend. Help will be available for those new to the craft.

Please remember the library closes promptly at
5:00 PM on Friday & Saturday. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at
4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.
