THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY

The Green Free Library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors please note that all parking is "on the street", except for one handicapped access parking spot behind the library that is shared with the Gmeiner. You must have the appropriate permits displayed to park in this spot.

There are no special events scheduled for today. Winners of books in the Silent Auction will be notified today.

TUESDAY AUGUST 07,2012

The BOOK STORE will be open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Prices are amazing and there are many titles to choose from. Books will be re-stocked at the end of every session, so make it a habit to stop in regularly.

The theme for this month is "Cookin August". All cookbooks are BYGO Free!! Please support the library by helping us get rid of the excess donations left when the Friends discontinued hosting the annual book sale.

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 08, 2012
Today is the last day of the Summer Reading Program at The Green Free Library. Everyone who participated in the program is invited to attend a special picnic. Please bring a bag lunch and a towel or blanket. Water and desert will be available.

There will be a puppet show at 10:15 AM with Bruce Weaver and his puppet pals. Grand Prize awards will be presented between 11:15 and 11:30 AM and a Picnic lunch will follow.

THURSDAY AUGUST 09, 2012

The BOOK STORE will be open from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This will coincide with the "Wellsboro Grower's Market", next door. One stop shopping, feed the stomach and the mind!

FRIDAY AUGUST 10, 2012

Please remember the library closes promptly at 5:00 PM on Friday & Saturday. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.

SATURDAY AUGUST 11, 2012

The library will be open from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors are welcome, and Wireless is available, along with Guest Passes for public Internet access with a valid photo ID. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.

The Book Store will be open from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
