There are no special events scheduled for today, but there is still time to come in and bid on one or more of the books available in the Silent Auction. The library is open from 10:00 AM-8:00 PM today.

The BOOK STORE will be open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Prices are amazing and there are many titles to choose from. Books will be re-stocked at the end of every session, so make it a habit to stop in regularly.
The theme for this month is " Christmas in July". Please support the library by helping us get rid of the excess donations left when the Friends discontinued hosting the annual book sale.

The Summer Reading Program continues! Today's program for PreK is Jazzy Tunes where kids will hear stories with a musical beat This program begins at 10:15 AM in the main room of the library. Please come early to sign in.
Kids K-6 will listen to some jazz songs and learn more about jazz during Jazz Time with Dr. Sheryl Monkelien from Mansfield University.This program begins at 10:15 AM at the Gmeiner (next to the library). Please come early to sign in.

The BOOK STORE will be open from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
This will coincide with the "Wellsboro Grower's Market", next door. One stop shopping, feed the stomach and the mind!

Please remember the library closes promptly at 5:00 PM on Friday & Saturday. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.
SATURDAY AUGUST 4, 2012
The library will be open from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors are welcome, and Wireless is available, along with Guest Passes for public Internet access with a valid photo ID. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.
The Friends of The Green Free Library will be hosting Miss Mazie’s Garden Party for Ladies on Saturday, Aug. 4, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., at the Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center.The event is sponsored by the Friends of The Green Free Library, to create awareness of the library’s history.
Party-goers will be greeted by Miss Mary B. "Mazie" Robinson, who once owned and lived in the present library building. Lemonade and light refreshments will be served while harp music will be provided by Celia Finestone. Suggested attire is garden party dress (hat and gloves optional).
