THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY

The Green Free Library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors please note that all parking is "on the street", except for one handicapped access parking spot behind the library that is shared with the Gmeiner. You must have the appropriate permits displayed to park in this spot.

MONDAY JUNE 25, 2012

Just business as usual today. If you are looking for a cool place to hangout, come on in! and I mean that literally and figuratively. We have air conditioning, books and public Internet access !!

TUESDAY JUNE 26, 2012

The BOOK STORE will be open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Prices are amazing and there are many titles to choose from. Books will be re-stocked at the end of every session, so make it a habit to stop in regularly.

The theme for this month is " Just Gotta Go, June". Please support the library by helping us get rid of the excess donations left when the Friends discontinued hosting the annual book sale.

Author and Singer Brooklyn James will hold a book signing at the library from 6:00 PM-7:00 PM. She will be promoting the second title in her Vigilare Trilogy, Vigilare: Hellhound. Copies will be available for purchase.


WEDNESDAY JUNE 27, 2012

The BOOK STORE will be open from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Adult knitting will meet in the Gmeiner at 3:00 PM. Feel free to drop by and get some instructions, or just knit with some good company. Knitters of ll levels are welcome

PreK Summer Reading Program-Campfire Tales-enjoy stories about camping!




K-6 Summer Reading Program-Let's Go Camping-Bonnie Rogers and the Girl Scouts give hints to make your camping trip fun and safe.



Both programs begin at 10:15 AM. PreK will meet in the main room of the library, and children K-6 will meet next door at the Gmeiner. Pre-registration is appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome!

THURSDAY JUNE 28, 2012

The BOOK STORE will be open from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This will coincide with the "Wellsboro Grower's Market", next door. One stop shopping, feed the stomach and the mind!

TEEN BOOK CLUB DISCUSSION begins at (check back for time) at the library.

Please remember the library closes promptly at 5:00 PM on Friday & Saturday. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.

SATURDAY JUNE 30, 2012

The library will be open from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Visitors are welcome, and Wireless is available, along with Guest Passes for public Internet access with a valid photo ID. The Internet computers are programmed to automatically shut down at 4:50 to allow staff to complete closing procedures by 5:00.
