SUMMER IS COMING AND SO IS THE SRP!

Celebrate the start of our Summer Reading Program! On Saturday, June 2, 2012, stop by The Green Library between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm for The Starry Saturday Kick-off event for pre-K through 6th grade children. Special activities will include a goodie bag, stories and creating a special bat to hang in the library during the duration of the program, which will run on Wednesday mornings from June 20-Aug 8th, 2012. This year’s theme is Dream Big-Read!

While all programs are designed for specific ages, the library staff understands if some families wish to remain together, despite the age differences. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to remain with, and interact with their children’s group. Please remember that the library has no medical or emergency information available, especially if children do not already have a library card and there should be some way to contact you immediately if you choose to not remain at the library during the scheduled program.

More information on each weekly program and how to earn prizes by reading will be available to registrants who come to the kick-off, or stop in at the library at a later date. A link will also be available on the library website soon. Please do not call to register. Information and registration forms to participate in the teen program, Own the Night, or the adult program, Between the Covers, will also be available.)
