The Green Free Library will be closed between the hours of 11:15 AM and 1:30 PM on Tuesday, December 7th, for the staff Christmas luncheon. The book drop will be open for returns and on this day only, videos, DVDs and audio materials may be placed in the book drop without incurring a fine!

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO THE GREEN FREE LIBRARY

He's making a list (of overdue library books) and checking it twice! Return your overdue library books or any that are just due and at the same time, bring the kids to see good old Saint Nick on Wednesday morning at The Green Free Library. Time of arrival, barring any cranky reindeer should be around 10:15 AM. There will also be a special Christmas craft and treats for all.

THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY

The Green Free Library is open Monday -Thursday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. It houses an extensive collection of non-fiction and fiction for all ages, as well as audio-books on three formats, VHS tapes and DVDs. Magazines and local newspapers are available for use at the library, as are public access Internet computers and free Wi-Fi for those with their own laptops.

Story Hour will be held on Wednesday at 10:15 AM. This will be the last program for 2010, and there will be a special guest so bring your camera!




Knitting Club for adults of any level, including beginners, begins at 3:00 PM. This is a time change!!



THURSDAY

Knitting Club for kids ages ten to 16, again all levels are welcome. Beginner needles and yarn are available if you just want to learn.
